Meet our UX / UI Designer, Diego Barrera
When did you join Soluntech?
I joined Soluntech as a freelancer in 2019 and I became part of the team in 2020. It has been a short time working at Soluntech but full of challenges and gratifying results.
Where do you work from?
I work from home. I customized a room with all the elements to meet my needs as a designer.
How would you describe what you do at Soluntech?
I’m UX/UI designer. I’m in charge of designing the information architecture, a visual representation of the product's infrastructure, features, and hierarchy resulting in a user-friendly interface. The challenge is to transform complex features to create the shortest, most intuitive and effective way for the user to do a certain action.
Favorite part of working at Soluntech?
Creative Freedom! At Soluntech I’ve had the opportunity to explore and apply different design trends. I’ve also supported different projects using 3D tools to show, in a more realistic way, our client’s ideas. I feel free to express my points of view as a designer. It’s awesome having a job that allows you to increase your levels of expertise.
Your secret skill?
I’m passionate about learning. I have skills in different design disciplines making easier to cover diverse aspects of the project and also increase the possibility to offer more options to develop our client’s requirements.
Favorite app you've built?
Arm Care is a great project and the effort I have put in has been according to its importance. The app will be launched on July 2020 and we are excited to see the project materialized.
In his spare time Diego makes magnificent designs!
